Horse Watch List

Horses to Watch Updated 6/10

Nitrous   2yr old for Steve A that got brutal trip and lost to a good Casse on the wire . Was best that day see where they go next , even if they enter Stake I will bet back this Tapit could be any kind

Bugle Notes — Pletcher freaky firster won on an inside speed biased track coming from behind on the outside where no horse won in 2 days.  He won but the win was even better then we thought.  Add him in if they place him in the next step non of 2L.   They placed over his head we will give one more chance if he goes in 2L race

Mia Mischief-– This one for Steve A might be one of the best sprinters in the country sat on a very fast pace and ran away anyway , ran a huge figure but this one is real quality to keep eye on.

Gas Station Sushi— this one not getting enough credit for a big run against a speed bias ran on ran well didnt have a lot of seasoning either.  This one is special and as Baltas moves forward watch where they put this one ….that was race sneaky good.

Abel Tasman — She is special she had no pace to run at on speed biased track.  She ran OK but should leap forward in her next start lookout many will get off wagon she will bounce back. SHE RAN BACK at CRUSHED , she is the best older filly keep eyes on going forward

Ivy Bell— She actually closed on a track where you had little chance to close against the best 3yr old and up sprinter in the country in American Gal.   On a fair track sprinting she is going to run them off their feet soon.   Dont miss her entry.   SHE RAN LONG WHY?   Keep eye on where they put her is really good but they need to drop her in class just a little and she will romp.

Martini Glass — Closer made wide sweeping move on track you couldnt do that on faded in stretch but watch the placement next time if no freaks she will get back to winning ways she ran a sneaky good race on tape.

Good Samaritan— Ran into a terrible speed bias in a race with little speed , ran into a good horse who rode the bias and ran away was taken out of his game, needs a big field fair track and pace he will be back , solid horse.   HAD NO CHANCE in MET MILE slow pace all the closers had no chance look for in longer races and drop in class and he is still very good.

Rushing Fall— She is incredible to do what she did last out , was sitting on first turn in perfect stalking position behind horses when rider for no reason took her out onto the daylight she then saw open space got rank and ran on well issue with that was we had 7F to run still on a closer biased turf course ,  then to compound the problem the main comp in race and Irad said well if you go I go and the match race was on for 6F and Rushing Fall put her away with 100 yards to the wire and a prolonged fight….she won the battle but because of the bonehead ride she lost the war as other filly came running from back w the closer bias and nailed her,  she never saw her coming ….She gets better ride and trip she will show she is WAY better then the filly that beat her and with better ride will crush in her next start no matter where they take her.

Midnight Bisou— well she is another closer who was on speed biased track and she still ran on well ran wide swept past many of them but couldnt get near the leaders , she goes back home faces the lower tier of fillies she will be impossible to beat.  She may be the best 3yr old filly on dirt she didnt get a chance to show it on that track.

Ipawema Beach — ran a great race against the bias closed into it anyway and just could not get by the lone speed leader riding the bias.  She will run big next out if placed in comparable race.

McCraken— OK he ran into a 44 pace is is supposed to close but he was the only closer in 2 days in big stakes to run from the back.  He is a sprinter to a mile one turn horse and he should be able to run in the big races coming up at those distances.  He is a very good horse all about the placement with him.  ANOTHER closer had no chance look for in some local stakes with the drop in class he is very good just not in the top of division.

Finley’sluckycharm–she will be back she got the worst of it against a special filly get a lesser field better post she will still be who she is a very good filly , not in the top 2-3 but she will make you money , watch where they go with her …

Beach Patrol-— Closer won every turf race for 3 days,  he was stuck on pace and got run down in first start of the year. He makes me nervous cause he likes to run second but at the top of the turf division you have to be really good to outsprint monsters in the lane ,  gotta watch though

King Zachary—  He won late on card Saturday of Derby he closed wide and ran down a leader which was hard to do that weekend…placement is key but his win is better then it looks on paper

Audible— Where do they go next with him,,  he wants distance ,,  he has tactical speed he runs when asks I think he is the 2nd best 3yr old in the nation.   We may never find out but the Travers could be the key race for him.

Hofburg—  everybody wise guy horse but getting better and if placed in right races moving forward can do damage at the top level of 3yr olds  Watch for in lesser races he ran very well in Belmont

Vino Rosso — this one is really got me watching him hard he wants to run long and longer he has quality the barn loves him rider loves him.  Belmont horse YES Travers horse YEs …..he is going to make a lot of money moving forward got to keep eye on him.     LOOK for in mid summer he made his run he is a solid horse
